In this seminar we'll explore the basics you'll need to digitize designs so that even those with absolutely no digitizing knowledge will have the base experience to digitize their first design. Topics include material considerations, push and pull distortion, basic underlay strategies, stitch type selection, drawing tools, art preparation, and stitch parameters. By the end of the session, we will have gone through and explained every step in the process of digitizing a simple logo so that beginners can follow along.

Most shops in the screen printing industry work with vector art - mostly because they don't know how to work with a raster image.This workshop will take you through designing, separating, and printing a simulated process design. A rundown of screen mesh, halftones, LPI and dot shape will be discussed, as well as the recommended squeegees and inks to have a successful finished print.

This is a hands-on workshop, so come with your work clothing. Everything will be supplied for printing on light colored t-shirts as well as black ones.
