Our exhibitors tell us
that the Decorated Apparel Expo is
their favorite trade show for the embroidery, screen printing
and direct-to-garment decorating industries. There are many reasons why exhibitors feel this way. It's
not just because the DAX show gives you one of the best "cost of leads"
ratios in the industry. (cost of leads = cost of show / divided by
number of leads generated)
How is DAX different?
Here is a typical exhibitor experience - how does this compare to other
shows you've done?:

Thursday |
Arrive at the exhibit hall between 10:00AM and 5:00PM. Go to the
registration desk to pick up your badges & lead retrieval system.
Margie, the show manager, greets you - There is no line. Bring
your materials into the exhibit hall. If you shipped your
materials, they are waiting in your booth. As you are setting up,
you notice that you are missing the pliers you need to assemble
one of your pieces of equipment. You go to the registration desk,
and borrow one from Margie. As long as you are there, you ask if
she has any pins you could use to assemble your display, and
mention that you did not see your electrical connection in your
booth. She gives you the pins you need, and calls the electricians
for you. You finish assembling your display, as you talk with
other exhibitors who are also setting up. The topic of being
hassled by laborers never comes up. Satisfied that you are ready
for the show, you walk to the hotel check-in desk and settle into
your room. (the hotel is attached to the convention facility)

| Friday |
Wake up in your
comfortable hotel room. The show starts at 10:00AM - you have
plenty of time. Get a light breakfast at the reasonably-priced
hotel restaurant, and head to the exhibit hall. You can get in as
early as 8:00AM to make a few last adjustments. Complimentary
coffee and breakfast sandwiches are served to exhibitors at
9:00AM, and you sit with other exhibitors and enjoy morning
conversation. Since there is free wi-fi in the hall, you take a
few minutes to download email on your lap-top. The show starts at
10:00AM, and attendees come looking for you.
Anytime between 11:30AM and 1:00PM,
you can pick up your complimentary box lunch. (You get up to two
tickets for lunch per booth*) By 4:30 you've had a chance to eat
it between clients. At 5:00PM, the hall closes for the day, and
the buyer-supplier party starts outside the exhibit hall. You
might cancel your dinner plans afterwards - there was plenty to
eat. |
| Saturday |
Saturday starts out
the same as Friday - coffee & breakfast sandwiches in the hall,
lunch you barely had time to eat, and clients to visit. The pace
is relaxed, and you have plenty of time to work with attendees. At
3:00PM, the crowd thins and it's time to wrap up. You pack up your
display, get your things in order, and you might even make it home
tonight, with a free day on Sunday. You had a great show. |
Many of our exhibitors
tell us that DAX is both their favorite show, and their most profitable.
Check our exhibitor list, and if you know somebody who exhibits at DAX,
ask them what they think of the show. They'll tell you more about our
show than we can.
Application details:
- Assignments will be made on a first-come-first serve basis
with larger space requirements taking precedence for space-assignment purposes. The
management reserves the right to determine eligibility of any applicant.
- All booths include Backdrape, sign and carpet. Electrical
service,
tables, chairs, etc. are available at extra cost. Water, Gas and Compressed air are not
available at this show.
- Cost per booth is $950. A discount of 5% will be realized by
exhibitors renting 3 - 5 booths at a single show, and 10% for rental of 6 or more booth
spaces in one show.
- All moneys, payable by company check or
credit card, will become due to Decorated
Apparel Expo, Inc about two months before the event. Only a
small deposit
is due with your application.
- Preliminary assignments will be made on
August 17, 2010.
Are you ready for the

Upon receipt of your request, (after
August 17, 2010) we will mail a contract for your booth. Please return
your contract immediately.
*Box lunches are are provided for
exhibiting companies, up to 2 per booth rented, up to a maximum of 10
per company.
